First pen in a professional setting

With immense gratitude, I’d like to announce that I have successfully completed my first internship of 5 weeks as a Copywriter at Trade Brains.

For a while, I have observed myself having a keen interest in understanding a subject carefully and taking the time to write about it. Though I might be a little slow, I can pay attention to doing so and bring out a written piece that I’ll be happy reading.

In my search for creative roles, I found Copywriting an interesting domain and began my hunt for an internship where I could explore my creative writing. I’m glad Trade Brains recognised me and handed me an opportunity.

The responsibility came as a challenge where I was pushed to carry out extensive research and portray it creatively. Sometimes, I saw doubting myself regarding a few topics that I wasn’t well aware of. I loved it. I loved where it was going, understanding where it will get me today.

During the internship, the team always made me feel at ease, taught me everything I asked them to and were actively providing feedback, not just related to my work but also from my career standpoint. Very soon, it made me feel like a part of the team, a part that was valued and concerned about.

Huge thanks to the entire crew for a smooth onboarding process and moulding me so well in such a short span. I’m happy for the learnings from this role which indeed tapped my creative writing ability to an extent like never before. Honestly, this is unforgettable.

I genuinely miss the feeling of - writing a piece that I confidently thought was good, only to get feedback and help me realise that I can make it excellent.
